Summer Bridge Program
The Summer Bridge Program is a three-week experience designed to help incoming first-year students transition smoothly from high school to college. Participants join a small cohort of peers, forming social connections while learning, living together in a campus residence hall, and exploring the vibrant offerings of Fort Wayne.
Scholars also build meaningful relationships with mentors, advisors, faculty, and other members of the campus community. Best of all, it is offered at no cost to students who are admitted to the program and provides the opportunity to earn free college credit through select coursework.
Those interested in participating must apply to be considered. A maximum of 30 students will be selected from the pool of applicants.
This program is open to all admitted Indiana Tech students, but we especially encourage applications from students who are:
- First-generation college students,
- 21st Century Scholars, or
- Students with a high school GPA of 2.25 and above.
