Indiana Tech’s Early Start program is a dual credit/dual enrollment program that allows qualified high school juniors and seniors to earn college credit while still in high school.
Students who enroll in Early Start courses:
- Get a head start on college coursework
- Engage with college professors and develop a better understanding of academic expectations in college
- Save money on college by paying just $25 per credit
2 Enrollment Options
The on-campus version of our Early Start program allows students to attend classes at our beautiful Fort Wayne campus alongside our full-time undergraduate students. You truly will be taking a college course, not simply getting credit for the high school version of an equivalent college course.
The e-Start program allows students to earn college credit online. e-Start students also have access to all the facilities, activities, and services available to our Fort Wayne campus, just like our Early Start on campus students. Complete college coursework when and where it’s convenient for you.
Current high school juniors and seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) are eligible for Early Start. Students with a GPA between 2.0 and 2.9 may apply for the program; however, they may be required to submit additional information, and acceptance is not guaranteed.
